| Prague and the Czech Republic as a whole have 4 very distinct seasons. Summer in Prague is sunny and hot, with temperatures reaching 35ºC (90F), however the average temperature is around a very pleasant 25ºC during the summer months (May - September). Winter can get really cold, with temperatures falling as low as minus 20ºC, although this is fairly exceptional. Snow is not uncommon, covering the city in a beautiful blanket of white up to 30cm deep, temperatures hover around the 0ºC mark in winter. Autumn and Spring are equally mild, but also very changeable, one day hot, one day cold. The preferred months in which to visit Prague are probably from April to November, however with a city with as much charm as Prague anytime of the year you'll be enchanted by its unique magic! |
