Prague has no shortage of great vantage points over the city for a perfect cityscape photo opportunity. The city is full of hills, spires and towers which are perfect for getting the ideal picture from a bird’s eye view. The delightful Powder Tower (Prasna Brana), built in 1475, is 65 meters high and is right in the Old Town Square. Be prepared to climb the 186 stairs to the roof's four viewing points offering a complete panorama of the old town, most notably the Tyn Church. The Prague Castle hill with the St Vitus Cathedral is another great vantage point. On Petrin Hill is the Petrin Hill Tower and in Zizkov the enormous TV Tower is ideal, perhaps even more so because it’s the only vantage point with an elevator. For meals with views, the Cowboys Steak & Cocktails Restaurant has a pretty terrace garden on the roof and overlooks the red rooftops of Mala Strana. Also the Nebozizek Restaurant on Petrin Hill overlooks the city through the green of the park.
